Old IPA

This beer is a collaboration with our neighbour, Tiley's Brewery. Previously we have combined our brewing interests to make a Vatted Porter released in 2018. To follow on from this, we have produced a non-traditional realisation of the pale beers shipped to India in the 18th and 19th centuries.Two different types of hoppy pale beer were blended to form Old IPA. The first, a West Coast-style IPA with Kiwi hops. The second, an approximation of an IPA recipe from 200 years ago, hopped with EKG.Both matured in oak for two years before bottle conditioning for a further 6 months.
