This is one of 11 releases of barrel aged Imperial Russian Stout. One brew, split into 11 different casks and left to develop and absorb the character and flavour embedded in the wood. This one has been resting in a Bruichladdich cask. The whisky was heavily peated, with lots of umami barbecue notes, but a little coastal and showing a little peach.
