Coquito-Style Stout

Our brewers were inspired by the holiday season and specifically by the unique blend of flavors found in Coquito – an eggnog like drink hailing from Puerto Rico. We began with our bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stout, then blended in a bit of the same stout that had not spent time in barrels. Once blended, we added lactose, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then finished the beer with a rest on 200lbs of toasted coconut chips. The end result is a rich, decadent, full-bodied beverage that is the holiday season in beer form.
