Named after Jian Zhen, a Chinese monk who dedicated his life to sharing Buddhism with Japan, the Blind Monk Amber Ale is a collaboration project between Great Leap and Baird Beer. The Blind Monk features Sichuan peppercorns, Japanese sansho, Qingdao flower hops and caramelized brown sugar. The beer is a true collaboration, incorporating signature ingredients from China and Japan, as well as unique ideas from both brewmasters. The original batch was brewed in Japan in 2014, and the second round brewed in Beijing in 2016.鉴真琥珀是大跃与日本Baird Beer的合酿啤酒，得名于将佛法普度至日本的鉴真大师。结合了四川的花椒和日本的山椒，青岛大花以及大量的日式黑糖糖浆——鉴真琥珀巧妙地融合了中日原材料以及双方酿酒师的巧思。最初一批在2014年的日本酿造，第二批在2016年的北京酿造完成。
