A very important Italian Brewer gesticulating helps but the style is an evolution of the German style Pilsner that has been dry-hopped with European hops for a bigger aroma than your usual classic Pilsners.We love a dry hop here at Modus and so thought we try our hand at the Italian style.The result is a soft, bready pilsner with a deep aromatic flavour from the Perle and Hallertau Mittelfruh. The key to a big aroma is to get the balance right so the mouthfeel sits with the bolder flavour. The Perle hops give a piney, spicy aroma and the Hallertau Mittelfruh is true to the noble style of earthy, flowery notes.
