This beer has a deep golden color and slight off-white foam that persists and clings to the glass (also known as Brussels lacing). On aroma it reminds one of banana bread and pears with a touch of clove and honey. The flavor tends to be similar to the aroma with and added layer of cereal and dried fruits. It finishes with a lasting gentle acidity that balances out with slight herbs from hops and no bitterness present. It has a pleasant but not overwhelming alcohol warmth and finishes very dry balancing out the malt character and yeast. It has medium carbonation, and would pair well with acidic and salty foods.
