Czech Lagers are most often identified by their starting gravities, or more simply put, how much sugar is in the wort prior to fermentation. That's where the “10°” in the name is derived. These beers are on the lower end of the ABV scale, but are typically vehicles that showcase Czech pilsner malt and the famous Czech Saaz hop varietal. Ours is no different. It was lagered for four months at our coldest temp ever, leading to a delicate beer with subtle malt sweetness and hop bitterness.
