'X' is a Pale Mild brewed in collaboration with Godspeed made specifically for their event, Extra Special, which celebrates the rich history of English beer and brewing. Historically, 'mild' was not so much a style as it was a description of a beer's age (or lack thereof). We designed this beer using inspiration from several historic recipes dating as far back as the 1700's. Gentle aromatics of honey, apricot and marmalade make way for a dry, black tea-like finish that begs another sip.
