Our Hop Harvest Farmhouse Ale uses hops at the peak of freshness; picked before dawn, driven straight to the brewery and steeped in the whirlpool by lunchtime. This beer is a collaboration with Balinga Hops, a minimal intervention hops farm bordered by old growth forest. Grown in clay soils under the glare of the West Australian sun, these hops were hand picked the day they met the wort. If you want a beer infused with the flavour of the land that fed it, this is it. Using a simple malt grist of wheat and pale malt, and fermented using Lallemand’s farmhouse strain, this beer is local, honest, fresh – and good.
