Acorn Fall Down

In the fall of 2017 Mike harvested acorns from the oak tree in his front yard. Following advice from Scratch Brewing (and their wonderful book: The Homebrewer's Almanac), he fermented them until a few weeks ago. The result was an amazing blend of aromatics from black garlic, to chocolate, to bourbon, to apricots. We infused three pints into a blended barrel-aged dark sour beer!
