Light ruby red color with orange hue, cherry aroma.Dry, with clearly perceptible honey taste and a delicate oak aftertaste.Cherry flavor comes through very well with black pepper and candied ginger finish. Firm acid and low-moderate tannin's. Medium-low body. This is an old styled mead called 'wiszniak', where 1/3 of the water is replaced with fresh cherry juice. The pepper brings out a slightly sharp, unique taste.
