Breaking Grounds was made in honor of our exciting year for BreWskey: New taproom/restaurant, new brewing facility, new beers, new people, and now our first can release.The beer uses one of our favorite hop blends: Sabro (cryo and reg), Mosaic (cryo and reg) and Cashmere. Kettle addition at steeping temperature of 75C, and the double dryhop was added at then tail end of the fermentation. There was a slight amount of hop creep which is a continued fermentation due to the enzymes present in the hops transforming un-fermentable sugars to fermentable ones, so the yeast activity had to be stopped via cold conditioning.Malt bill composed of Pale, 2Row, malted and unmalted Oats, malted wheat. English yeast.
