Experimenting with different hops continues to be a lot of fun around the brewery. In this spirit, we decided to explore two hops we have yet to use in a beer to date. While the hops are designed to be prominent in this recipe, the malt profile plays a supporting role in providing a full body and silky-smooth mouthfeel. By using a 3:1 ratio of Idaho 7 to Topaz one will find tropical fruit, black tea, and floral notes on the nose with dense flavours of stone fruit, candied citrus rind, and tangerine. Continued transparency with our ingredients has become a great way for the wonderful people who drink our beer to understand, appreciate, and learn about different flavour combinations and the brewing process.
