Of the Vine: LIttle Blackbird

Our "Of the Vine" series continues with Little Blackbird, a dry cider co-fermented with Merlot grape pomace from our friends at Manatawny Creek Winery. The Merlot grape was first documented in France in 1784 and originally named after the little black birds that would feast on them at ripening. This cider was wild fermented with the pomace and rested for 8 months, resulting in a beautifully pink hued cider with light tanic complexity, and a dry, refreshing finish. Santé!
