Gelbvieh (pronounced ‘Gel-Fee’) is a Franconian style Kellerbier. Brewed with our friends from Newbarns Brewery in Leith, Scotland. Expect an unfiltered and hazy gold lager with a robust bitterness and a floral, spicy hop character, dashed with notes of strawberry and fresh melon. Gelbvieh is named after a classic Bavarian cattle breed originating from the Franconian Region. Similar looking to both Simmentals and Limousins, which are found at both Newbarns Farm and in the grounds of Thornbridge Hall.Suitable for vegans.
